Shipping

When can I expect my order to arrive?

We process orders within 24 hours or receiving them. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed as soon as possible on the following business day.

At this time we are not able to ship for Saturday delivery. Please also keep in mind that most carriers do not deliver on holidays.

Orders are processed and shipped from New York City with the exception of made-to-order products such as totes and t-shirts.

T-SHIRTS & TOTE BAGS
Shipping times will be slightly longer, with an estimated delivery within 5-10 business days.

How much does shipping cost?

We offer free domestic ground shipping on all paper goods orders $70+ (after discounts, before tax) shipping to the United States.

T-SHIRTS & TOTE BAGS
These items do not qualify for free shipping, as they ship separately from our partners and incur different carrier fees. Shipping fees for these items are listed below.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.

Am I able to change the address on an order?

We’re unable to change the shipping address on an order once it’s placed. Once your order ships, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to update your address. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.


Returns

What is your return policy?

Unused and unopened products may be returned for a full refund less the original shipping cost.

Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. Used, opened, and/or final sale items cannot be returned.

Once we receive the returned item(s), we will credit your original method of payment excluding non-refundable shipping costs as soon as possible. Regardless of the date an order is placed, if the original form of payment has expired at the time a refund for a return is processed, a store credit will be issued and a refund will not be provided.

Please note refunds may take 2-3 weeks to process and show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.

If a return exception is made for an order past 30 days, a store credit will be issued and a refund will not be provided.

How do I return an item?

Please make sure your order qualifies.

Your item(s) would have to be purchased directly from specialorbits.com and not through a final sale to qualify for an exchange or a refund.

Your item is eligible for an exchange if:

  • it is damaged or if the production quality was not as promised.
  • it is returned within 15 days of receipt
  • it was not purchased on final sale

Your item is eligible for a refund within 15 days of receiving order if:

  • you purchased it on specialorbits.com
  • the item is unopened, unused, and in original packaging
  • it was not purchased on final sale

Return your order and packing slip

Please reach out through the contact form below for an address to which you may ship your order.

Once we receive the returned item(s), we will credit your original method of payment excluding non-refundable shipping costs as soon as possible. Regardless of the date an order is placed, if the original form of payment has expired at the time a refund for a return is processed, a store credit will be issued and a refund will not be provided.

AWAIT CREDIT

Do you offer exchanges?

We do not offer exchanges at this time, but we will always try to be as accommodating as we can. Please feel free to contact us through the form below.


Payment + Gifting

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, ShopPay, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay, and SpecialOrbits gift cards.

Only one credit card may be applied per order. Your card will be charged at the time your order is placed. If you are using a SpecialOrbits issued gift card, the funds will be removed from your balance at the time your order is placed.

All pricing is listed in USD.

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect sales tax on orders shipped to New York State, as required by law.

For orders shipped outside New York, sales tax is collected only in states where we have established sales tax nexus, in accordance with applicable state laws.

Sales tax obligations vary by state and may depend on factors such as sales volume, transaction count, or marketplace facilitation laws.

Why is my card being declined when I try to place an order?

The billing address you are using may not match the billing address tied to your card. Please be sure to check that the billing address is correct and try again. If you are still experiencing problems, you may wish to contact the issuing bank of your credit card regarding this matter.

How do I use a promo code?

Promo codes can be entered during the checkout process. Simply type or paste your code in the box labeled “Promo Code,” in the cart, then click “Apply.”

Only one promo code may be applied per order. Promo codes cannot be combined with other offers. Promo codes do not apply to gift cards, tote bags, or t-shirts.

Do you offer e-gift cards?

Where can I use my gift card?

To redeem your gift card online, open your cart and click "Checkout." Enter the gift card code in the box labeled “Discount Code or Gift Card” on the right side, then click “Apply.”

Retail Orders

How can I find out the status of my order?

You should receive an email with details about your order, it will include a tracking number.
Please reach in the Customer Care form below if you're having any difficulties.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Once an order is placed, it is unable to be canceled or modified.

How should I report a missing item/damaged or defective item from my order?

Please report any damaged or missing items through the form below within 7 days of delivery.

Am I able to change the address on an order?

We’re unable to change the shipping address on an order once it’s placed. Once your order ships, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly to update your address. We are not responsible for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

What should I do if my package is lost?

If you have a package that was marked as delivered but you have not yet received it, we ask you to take the following steps:

1. Check with your neighbors or front office (if applicable) to see if the package was left there.
2. Contact us in the form below with your order number.

Please report your lost or stolen shipment within 7 days of the marked delivery date.

If an order is lost after being shipped to a third party mail forwarding facility, we are unable to assume responsibility of the package once it is marked as delivered. Once an international shipment has been marked as delivered, we are no longer responsible for the particular package.

I am having trouble placing an order. Can you help?

We are so sorry to hear you’re not able to get an order placed on our website, but we'd love to assist you.

We recommend refreshing your web browser and clearing your cache and cookies. This may solve issues such as populating a shipping quote, proceeding to the next section at checkout, or adding your credit card information.

If this doesn’t work, we recommend trying to check out on a different browser, using a different device, or logging out of your account and checking out as a guest.

Some other helpful tips for making sure your order goes through:

  1. Make sure your zip code on your credit card details matches the zip code in your billing address. For security reasons, these two zip codes will need to match for your bank to process the transaction and submit the order.
  2. Only one method of payment can be used per order. Please note that nay third-party gift cards such as AMEX or Visa are considered credit cards, and will need to have a minimum of the full order total available on the card for the funds to process and complete the order.
  3. Tote bags and T-shirts can only ship domestically within the U.S. If you're placing an international order with one of these items in your cart, you will not be able to complete your purchase.

If you're unsure if your order was processed, we recommend checking your email for an order confirmation before placing a new order on our website.

I would like to cancel my order. Am I able to do so?

Once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel or alter your order in any way.

I received the incorrect item. What should I do?

Please provide a photo, SKU #(s), and quantity of the incorrect item(s) you did receive, and also confirm the item, SKU #(s), and quantity that you did not receive as well as your account name and PO #. We will will replace your missing item(s) with complimentary shipping. Refunds / credits will not be issued for missing items.

Something in my order arrived damaged. What should I do?

Please reach out to us with the contact form below. One of us will write back and you can provide photos of the damaged item(s) along with your order number as well as the sku #(s) and quantity of damaged item(s).

Replacement(s) for your damaged item(s) will be sent to you with complimentary shipping. Refunds / credits will not be issued for damaged items.

May I alter your packaging?
How about the way your products are displayed in my store?

We ask that you sell products in their original packaging. Relabeling, repackaging (including the separation of bundled products or the bundling of products), and otherwise altering products or their packaging is not permitted.

Failure to comply may result in account termination. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding our packaging.
